Responsibilities

• Practices medicine within the scope of authority and privileges granted by Moffitt Cancer Center and Memorial Healthcare System.
• Serves as a member of the academic medical enterprise, advancing the Moffitt institutional mission of contributing to the prevention and cure of cancer.
• Researches, publishes, and teaches as key components of the program, which are evaluated annually and form part of the incentive structure.
• Specializes in bone marrow transplant or stem cell transplant for treating diseases or as a means to combat blood disorders like leukemia.
• For medical oncology, specializes in diagnosing and treating various types of cancer and other malignancies, administering chemotherapy, and collaborating with surgeons and radiotherapists.
• Works within the clinical and research enterprise, supporting patient care, research, and education.
• Treats hematological conditions such as anemia, clotting disorders, sickle cell disease, hemophilia, leukemia, and lymphoma.
• Manages cases involving myeloid leukemia (AML and MDS), lymphoma, and myeloma, as well as hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) and chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapy (CAR-T).

Requirements

• MD/DO or equivalent degree.
• Successful completion of an approved Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology.
• Florida Medical License eligibility.
• BLS Certification.
• DEA License.
• Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology.

Benefits

Salary Range: $388,876.80 - $482,354.29. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
