Assistant Medical Director of Hospital Medicine

Job Responsibilities

• Participates in Administrator on Call rotation
• Reviews cases from clinical and administrative perspectives
• Supports provider staff with challenging patient cases
• Works with patient advocate to facilitate patient concerns and grievances
• Mentorship of new hires and support of growth/leadership opportunities within division
• Guides staff in adhering to applicable standards of care/practice
• Establishes, evaluates, and monitors care processes, policies, and procedures

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Medical Degree (MD or DO)
• EMR experience preferred with EPIC
• Ability to adhere to HIPPA, OSHA, and CSG OSHA policies
• Ability to provide excellent and efficient customer service and patient care
• Strong working knowledge of medical terminology
• Patient-focused approach with proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including proficiency in other languages
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
