Assistant-Medical

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care duties as assigned under the direction of licensed personnel and physician.
• Affords assistance in the performance of procedures for the patient population served in a manner consistent with established policies and procedures.
• Maintains patient safety.
• Performs clerical tasks and related duties.
• Completes assigned goals.

Specifications

• Experience:

  • Minimum Required: Approved nursing or medical assistant course and/or on the job training.
  • Preferred/Desired: Minimum of one year experience.

• Education:

  • Minimum Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

• Skills:

  • Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency.
  • Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.

• Licensure:

  • Minimum Required: BLS certification within 14 days of hire date.
