Responsibilities

  • Promotes safety awareness and ensures compliance with all security, safety (OSHA), and environmental regulations and policies within work areas at all times
  • Promotes planning measures to ensure operational success
  • Assigns labor to each specific job as outlined by management
  • Captures preventative and corrective repairs on available vehicles during the assigned shift
  • Manages relationships with ILA partners working within workspace
  • Ensures compliance to labor contracts and agreements
  • Administers disciplinary and performance improvement measures
  • Develops and maintains reports for all assigned tasks and work started and/or completed during the shift
  • Monitors work to ensure that employees are following established vehicle maintenance guidelines and procedures
  • Provides ongoing feedback and coaches’ team members through issues or escalations
  • Coordinates asset availability within immediate department and partnering operational departments
  • Documents work in record keeping systems (EAM, EA sheet, etc.) along with pass down notes between rotating shifts
  • Handles daily activities and works with other AVMs in a manner that drives operational excellence, continual improvement, and teamwork in accordance with organizational goals
  • Oversees scheduling and responsibly directs workflows within the team
  • Attends management meetings per rotation with other ACMs
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Licenses, Certifications, and Credentials: Valid driver’s license; Transportation Worker Identification Credential; Relevant Technical Certification required
  • Work Experience: Five years of related experience with one year in a leadership capacity or Bachelor’s degree in related field required
