About the role
Completes the daily transactions and tasks related to the financial operation of the community.
Responsibilities
- Collects and posts rent, fees, and other payments.
- Prepares daily bank deposits and monthly close out reports.
- Processes invoices and payables.
- Operates property management software and completes transactions.
- Reviews resident files and accounting records.
- Communicates with residents regarding outstanding balances.
- Implements procedures for collecting on delinquencies.
- Enforces the lease to maximize revenue.
- Sends invoices to vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Reconciles work performed or products purchased.
- Applies appropriate deposit and lease cancellation fees.
- Processes resident move-outs.
- Responds to complaints, questions, and requests.
- Takes appropriate action to resolve and address service issues.
- Organizes and delegates daily work.
- Calls maintenance supervisor for make-ready tasks.
- Manages the operation of the community.
- Leads leasing efforts, showing apartments to prospects.
- Prepares lease and move-in documents.
- Promotes a positive image of the apartment community and management company.
Requirements
High School or equivalent.
Strong Math Skills.
Bilingual preferred.
Qualifications
Drivers License.
Skills
Knowledge of property management software.
Ability to communicate effectively with residents and vendors.
Ability to enforce lease terms and handle evictions.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
