Assistant Manager - Store 6031

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in all aspects of day‑to‑day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed, accuracy, and a great attitude.
• Coach and motivate team members to consistently upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high‑performing team focused on customer service and store success.
• Act as manager on duty when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store fully stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store—including restrooms, trash areas, and fuel pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules to ensure full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership that motivates the team to excel.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Open availability; must work weekends, holidays, and primarily second or third shifts.
• Reliable transportation: valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and proof of insurance for bank deposits.
• Physical readiness to clean restrooms, take out trash, and maintain outside areas such as fuel pumps.
• Minimum age: 21 years.
• Proficient in English with basic math skills.
• Willingness to learn; Food Safety Certification required (or ability to obtain).
• Commitment to completing required manager training (Tennessee Topshelf Manager Training).

Schedule

Open availability is required. Expect to work weekends, holidays, and primarily second or third shifts.

Compensation

Weekly pay with a monthly bonus potential based on performance. Sign‑on bonus of $1,000 paid after six months in the position. The posted pay range reflects minimum and maximum rates; actual starting pay varies based on experience, skills, and shift.
