Assistant Manager, Retail Store Short Hills

About the Role

As the Assistant Store Manager at Robert Graham, you will support overall sales, staff, merchandise, and customer service while promoting a sales culture to build productivity and passion for the brand. This role ensures all internal and external customers receive exemplary service and a positive store/brand experience.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales goals by continuously motivating sales staff to meet assigned sales and productivity targets.
• Support the development of associates' sales techniques, ensuring elevated levels of sales and service to maximize performance.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of merchandise and train staff on product fluency to foster growth within the company.
• Exhibit sales leadership by actively engaging on the selling floor and collaborating with management to identify marketing opportunities.
• Work with the Store Manager to develop events and incentives that grow the customer base, with a focus on building local market presence.
• Ensure all associates provide the highest level of customer service to achieve World Class Service standards.
• Maintain constant client communication through client books and databases.
• Resolve client problems and complaints quickly and effectively.
• Assist sales associates with customer service issues, including dissatisfied customers, returns, and defective merchandise.
• Empower associates to make decisions in the customer's best interest while aligning with the Company's philosophy.

• Ability to support management with supervision of scheduled staff in the store.
• Hold a store key.

Pay

This commission-eligible position includes a base hourly range tailored to the candidate’s experience, education, industry knowledge, location, and skills. The base hourly range is a good faith estimate and part of a total compensation package that may also include commission, bonuses, and benefits.
