Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Prior experience in related food service positions is required
- Must have moderate reading and writing skills
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions and procedures
- Must promote positive public relations with guests
- Must have proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills
- Must cooperate and work together with all co-workers
- Must plan and complete job duties with minimal supervisory direction using appropriate judgment
- Must be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel
- Must administer prompt, fair, and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies
- Must fully understand and comply with all relevant federal, state, county, and municipal regulations
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Regularly required to talk or hear
- Frequent hand and finger use
- Frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, pushing, and pulling items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Exposure to kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, dishwashers, slicers, coffee machines, steamers, mixers, and chef's knives
