Assistant Manager, Receiving
About the Role
Oversee VIP and vendor consignments, partner with the luxury consignment office to manage fashion product transfers to the warehouse, and provide coverage on the receiving floor to assist with product questions and distribution, increasing department productivity.
Serve as the point of contact for customer returns, authentication, merchandising, copywriting, and the inbound loading dock. Assist operation coordinators and exception specialists with outstanding product issues and exceptions, conduct weekly and monthly audits for standard operating procedures compliance, and uphold company brand and condition standards.
Maintain a positive team culture, manage backlog and end-of-day reporting, and oversee all inquiries sent to AZ receiving support, ensuring timely and accurate responses. Supervise department product handlers and support staff.

Requirements
- Proven success with process implementation and facilitation with measurable KPIs
- Experience retaining and developing top talent
- At least one year of management experience in a related field
- Highly motivated, dependable, and proactive
- Ability to lead by example
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize daily tasks
- Able to work independently but manage a large group in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
- Solution-minded and detail-oriented with a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Comfortable in a high-value and fast-paced work environment
- Proficient with Excel/Google Sheets

Pay
The expected salary range for this role is $57,000.00–$80,912.00. Starting pay is determined by factors including primary work location, candidate skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity.
