Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned development projects from sample request to commercialization.
- Prepare and track development timelines and action plans.
- Cook with merchandising, engineering, sample room, and production teams.
Technical Support
- Review tech packs and customer requirements.
- Prepare technical specifications and development instructions.
- Follow up on pattern engineering, grading, tooling, and mold requirements.
- Support troubleshooting during sample development.
Sample Management
- Monitor and complete daily sample progress and ensure on-time completion.
- Verify sample quality before submission.
- Ensure proper documentation of development records and approvals.
Costing Support
- Aid in preliminary costing and material consumption calculations.
- Support cost reduction initiatives during development.
Customer Communication
- Participate in customer meetings and technical discussions.
- Prepare development status reports and presentations.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify process bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
- Support implementation of development SOPs and best practices.
Requirements
- Experience: 5-6 years
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Leather Engineering (LE)
