Assistant Manager - Optical
Job Description
Maintain and meet profit, sales, and performance targets.
Optimize and manage the eyeglass department to ensure efficiency and adherence to company policies.
Ensure high levels of customer service and associate performance.
Review and enforce policies related to remakes and quality standards.
Communicate regularly with the General Manager, District Manager, and Corporate Office.
Implement and promote store promotions, advertising, and visual merchandising.
Supervise and motivate Opticians, CL Sales associates, and Receptionists, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Forecast staffing needs, recruit, select, and retain a skilled workforce.
Motivate employees to consistently exceed performance expectations.
Qualifications
Experience in optical sales.
Preferred supervisory experience.
Proven ability to lead, coach, and build strong relationships with associates.
Understanding of store operations and standards for success.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills for planning and monitoring progress.
Ability to analyze and interpret financial reports.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills for analyzing and resolving issues.
