Assistant Manager - Optical
Job Description
Maintain and achieve profit, sales, and performance goals.
Optimize and oversee the eyeglass department for efficiency and compliance with company policies and operational guidelines.
Ensure outstanding customer service and motivate associates to meet performance standards.
Enforce quality standards, review remakes, and communicate with management and corporate office as required.
Manage store promotions, advertising, and visual merchandising, ensuring associates and doctors are informed of current promotions.
Supervise and motivate Opticians and CL Sales associates, and assist the General Manager with staffing needs, recruitment, and retention.
Qualifications
Optical sales experience, preferably with supervising experience.
Proven ability to lead, coach, and build associate relationships.
Sound understanding of store operations and standards for success.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Exceptional organizational skills for planning and monitoring progress.
Ability to analyze and create financial reports.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills for analyzing and solving complex issues.
