About the role

The Assistant Manager position is available in various locations around Nashville, including Goodlettsville, Hendersonville, La Vergne, Franklin, Smyrna, Gallatin, Lebanon, Spring Hill, Murfreesboro, Portland, Dickson, Columbia, and TruCare. This role is within the Truck Care Centers and Commercial Tire Centers of Goodyear, a leading service and retreading market with over 200 locations across the US.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Center Manager to manage the location and achieve sales and cost goals.
• Manage store activities in the absence of the Center Manager, including hiring, training, and managing associates.
• Aid the sales and service departments.
• Operate the center in the absence of the Center Manager, ensuring compliance with company standards and asset protection.
• Enforce company policies and procedures.
• Provide "Service Excellence, Always" to meet sales and service goals and customer needs.
• Communicate work assignments and responsibilities to associates.
• Affirm proper staffing levels with qualified personnel.
• Ensure safety, health, and environmental compliance.
• Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including light and heavy lifting, standing, bending, and squatting.

Requirements

• Ability to relocate based on business needs and personal development.
• One year of previous management experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US.
