About the role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Minuteman Store Manager to support the operations of our retail store. The ideal candidate should possess strong Managership skills, a customer-centric mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional retail experiences.
Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in driving sales growth, achieving revenue targets, and maximizing profitability.
- Aid in providing guidance and coaching to the store team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing store team, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Assist in implementing strategies to enhance customer service, build customer loyalty, and create a welcoming shopping environment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, oversee inventory management processes, and assist in placing orders to meet customer demand.
- Help analyze sales data, monitor key performance indicators, and take proactive measures to address sales trends and opportunities.
- Control operational costs, including labor expenses, supplies, and other operational expenditures, to meet budgetary goals.
- Foster compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations to ensure a safe and secure environment for employees and customers.
- Contribute to store cleanliness, organization, and adherence to visual standards.
- Assist in addressing customer concerns, resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer preferences to support business strategies and drive innovation.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager and other departments to execute marketing initiatives, promotions, and support overall business objectives.
Qualifications
- Must have a people-first mentality; “Fast Friendly Service with a Smile”.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Some college coursework or a degree in Business Administration or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in a Managership or supervisory role.
- Strong Managership skills with the ability to work collaboratively and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with customers, employees, and stakeholders.
- A customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service and creating positive shopping experiences.
- Understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and visual merchandising principles.
- Proficiency in using computer systems, point-of-sale (POS) software, and other retail-related tools.
- Knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
