About the role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Minuteman Store Manager to support the operations of our retail store. The ideal candidate should possess strong Managership skills, a customer-centric mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional retail experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in driving sales growth, achieving revenue targets, and maximizing profitability.
  • Aid in providing guidance and coaching to the store team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing store team, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in implementing strategies to enhance customer service, build customer loyalty, and create a welcoming shopping environment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, oversee inventory management processes, and assist in placing orders to meet customer demand.
  • Help analyze sales data, monitor key performance indicators, and take proactive measures to address sales trends and opportunities.
  • Control operational costs, including labor expenses, supplies, and other operational expenditures, to meet budgetary goals.
  • Foster compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations to ensure a safe and secure environment for employees and customers.
  • Contribute to store cleanliness, organization, and adherence to visual standards.
  • Assist in addressing customer concerns, resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer preferences to support business strategies and drive innovation.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager and other departments to execute marketing initiatives, promotions, and support overall business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Must have a people-first mentality; “Fast Friendly Service with a Smile”.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Some college coursework or a degree in Business Administration or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in a Managership or supervisory role.
  • Strong Managership skills with the ability to work collaboratively and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with customers, employees, and stakeholders.
  • A customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service and creating positive shopping experiences.
  • Understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and visual merchandising principles.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, point-of-sale (POS) software, and other retail-related tools.
  • Knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
