About the role
The Human Resource Account Manager performs duties at the professional level in some or all of the following functional areas: employee relations, training, employment, affirmative action and employment equity programs, and benefits management. This position requires an extremely perceptive person capable of relating to individuals at all levels within the organization. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
- Maintains all employee and applicant documentation as required.
- Manages and tracks all employee disciplinary actions.
- Assists with coaching, counseling, and guiding managers before executing employee disciplinary actions.
- Maintains and processes all Unemployment Notices of Entitlement and potential charges in a timely, efficient manner; attends unemployment hearings when necessary.
- Conducts new-employee orientations; monitors career-pathing programs; writes and places advertisements.
- Acts as an employee relations specialist.
- Maintains employee personnel files and updates the HR portal.
- Ensures compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; periodically audits Forms I-9.
- Distributes and monitors employee performance evaluations, ensuring timely completion (e.g., three months, six months, one year, and yearly thereafter).
- Updates, monitors, and maintains eligible salary adjustments/increases based on evaluations on the HR portal.
- Reports, maintains, and monitors all workers' compensation case files; follows up on open cases.
- Leads grant research and proposals.
- Monitors employee eligibility for benefits plans when needed; reviews benefits with employees and processes enrollment, cancellation, or changes.
- Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs and updates organization portals with content.
- Maintains high standards of confidentiality for all employee records and information.
- Works closely with the Payroll Department to submit and reconcile payroll.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree and two to four years of HR experience, or seven years of experience in the HR field, or any similar combination of education and experience.
- Prior call center experience is helpful.
- Proficiency with computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheet, email, and database software; familiarity with office equipment such as printers, scanners, copiers, and fax machines.
Pay
$65,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year. This range reflects the base pay reasonably expected for the role across hiring locations. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including geographic location, professional experience, relevant education and certifications, industry knowledge, and skills.
