About the role
The Assistant Manager position at Parachute is a high-growth opportunity within a dynamic and innovative organization. The role involves overseeing daily operations, collaborating on strategic initiatives, leading by example, and fostering a positive environment for both staff and donors.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day operations by managing the donor floor and ensuring smooth donor flow and retention.
- Partner with the Center Director to plan and execute goals around operations, donor experience, and compliance.
- Lead by example and coach team members in real-time.
- Monitor quality, safety, and regulatory standards, supporting audits and inspections.
- Manage and maintain inventory, equipment, and supplies.
- Recruit and develop exceptional team members and foster a culture of growth and accountability.
- Communicate and align expectations through regular team syncs, share updates, and keep everyone focused on the day’s priorities.
Requirements
- A high school diploma, GED equivalent, or higher education with 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., sit or stand for extended periods, and enter cold environments (-40°C) for short periods.
- Flexible to work both day and evening hours, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as needed.

Benefits
Parachute offers a competitive salary range of up to $70K ($50K - $55K base + up to 25% monthly bonus), medical, dental, and vision insurance, and paid time off and company holidays.

This role requires 50%+ travel in addition to 8 weeks of paid training (accommodations provided).
