About the role
The Assistant Manager, Guest Coordination is responsible for supervising all Patient Access operations within the assigned area. This individual promotes accurate and efficient registration and financial clearance services.
Responsibilities
- Promote accurate and efficient registration and financial clearance services.
- Develop, coordinate, and administer comprehensive training modules specific to all elements of Patient Access services, including orientation of new hires.
- Provide training to address deficiencies defined through the quality improvement process.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for all PAS systems assigned, and support efforts to motivate staff to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and meet departmental goals for patient satisfaction and financial performance.
- Ensure the Guest Coordinator staff is trained in customer service and badge pass.
- Support additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Preferred degree in Health Care Management, Business, or related healthcare discipline.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Patient Access or Physician Practice preferred.
- Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) or Certified Patient Account Representative (CPAR) preferred.
Qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software.
- Strong team leadership skills, strong organization, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.
- Must be able to meet strict deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, and excellent organizational skills.
- Must be able to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Able to develop trust with leaders in the organizations.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, proficient computer skills, proven track record of successful performance.
- Able to understand complex multifactor situations and bring appropriate solutions.
- Able to work both independently and in a team environment.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 annually.
