About the role
The Assistant Manager for the Food Court at MGM Resorts International leads the daily operations of the restaurants, ensuring seamless service and exceptional guest experiences. This role involves creating memorable moments by understanding guests' unique needs and delivering personalized service.
Responsibilities
- Make daily floor plans per shift to ensure proper rotation and coverage of stations.
- Supervise floor service in dining rooms during hours of operation.
- Perform employee evaluations and manage issues related to attendance records.
- Maintain communication with the Chef on all food service and menu issues.
- Communicate with front-of-house management, chefs, and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address issues or needs requested by guests and employees.
- Order supplies through the IP System and Purchasing; prepare purchase requisitions for any outlets from the warehouse or support departments.
- Keep inventory form and stocking area updated.
- Inspect food coming from support departments to assure freshness and quality.
- Maintain direct communication with guests for special requests and large party reservations.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- Prior supervisory/managerial Food & Beverage (F&B) experience preferred.
- Prior F&B high-volume Quick-Service Restaurant (QSR) or concession-type experience preferred.
- Prior experience leading teams within an unionized environment preferred.

Pay
The pay range for this role is: $46,000.00 - $63,200.00. Employees in this position are eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plans, and time off plans.
