This role supports the daily operations of a retail branch, focusing on developing and growing member relationships, promoting products and services, and delivering efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine branch opening, closing, member service, and other operational tasks and activities.
• Assumes responsibility for the supervision of the branch office during the manager’s absence.
• Coaches staff to cross-sell and track achievement against sales goals; provides training on sales techniques.
• Assists the branch manager in achieving financial, operational, and customer satisfaction goals for the branch.
• Resolves member or operational issues.
• Coordinates with other Credit Union teams to promote products and represents the Credit Union during community events.
• Supports portfolio growth by identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and increase member acquisition.
• Ensures members receive optimal service and monitors/adheres to operational controls.
• Utilizes various systems to access financial and production reports to assess branch performance and make business decisions that promote profitability and goal achievement.
• Ensures compliance with Teachers policies and procedures.
• Performs all duties inherent in the role of a supervisor.
• Performs other duties as needed upon request by immediate supervisor.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of three years branch banking experience required as an individual contributor.
• Microsoft Word and Excel skills required.
• Commissioned notary or ability to successfully obtain a notary commission in the state where you work within six months of starting in the role required.
• Spanish language skills preferred.

Pay

The good faith range for this position is $28.50 to $34.15 an hour, with eligibility for a quarterly incentive cash opportunity. This range is an estimate based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts as permitted by applicable law.
