Assistant Manager - Facilities & Operations West Campus

Responsibilities

  • Venue/Building Management
  • Identifies and provides oversight of maintenance and custodial issues throughout
  • Manages requests for furniture/equipment moves and assembly, and performing light maintenance work
  • Serves as a Liaison of required work orders, prioritize, track progress and communicate with coaches and staff concerning work for E.B Cushing Stadium, Murray "Fasken" Indoor Track and Mitchell Tennis Center
  • Manages regular inspections for cleanliness, orderliness, maintenance, safety and ease of passage for assigned venues
  • Oversight of assigned buildings maintenance of general supply inventory, and equipment storage for assigned venues including organization and maintaining storage
  • Supports Events Coordinator II to determine priority and needs per venue as needed
  • Event/Game Day Venue Management
  • Aids in game day management for assigned buildings, including set-up and breakdown
  • Oversees that the assigned buildings are prepared for practice, competitions, and other scheduled activities
  • Aids in Events Management department with special events, as needed
  • General Administration
  • Aids in the Facility Condition Assessment for E.B Cushing Stadium, Murray "Fasken" Indoor Track and Mitchell Tennis Center
  • Aid with access/keys/keyless access management for assigned buildings
  • Aid with ensuring venue operations guides are up to date and accurate for all assigned venues
  • Aid with branding for assigned buildings
  • Compliance
  • Maintains continual and thorough familiarity with all applicable NCAA, Conference and University rules and regulations
  • Establishes and ensures communication and enforcement of rules and regulations concerning student-athletes: conduct, appearance, road games, punctuality and other areas as deemed appropriate
  • Qualifications

    • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Four years of related experience.
    • Preferred Qualifications: Four or more years of previous experience working within an athletic department, having building oversight and or the live event industry. Specific time working in a Power five athletics department within venue/building operations and management.
    • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
