About the role

The Assistant Manager position at Capital Crossing, a 240-unit apartment community in Austin, TX, supports the Community Manager in managing daily property operations while maintaining stable occupancy and meeting budgeted financial goals.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain stable occupancy and meet budgeted financial goals
  • Build strong resident relations and provide excellent customer service
  • Aid the Community Manager in training, directing, motivating, and assisting site personnel
  • Establish positive relationships within the community
  • Be on-call as scheduled by management

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years previous property management experience preferred
  • Section 8, Section 42, and/or Market Rate experience preferred
  • Yardi software experience preferred
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Texas driver's license
  • Knowledge of property management software (Yardi preferred)
