The Assistant Manager - Brand Marketing at Gildan will play a crucial role in enhancing brand awareness, driving customer engagement, and increasing market share through strategic marketing initiatives.
Strategy Development
- Develop and execute comprehensive brand marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats.
Campaign Management
- Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, print, and events.
- Monitor and evaluate campaign performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize results.
Content Creation
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling content that effectively communicates the brand message.
- Support senior brand manager with seasonal photoshoot planning and execution.
- Ensure consistency in brand voice and visual identity across all marketing materials.
Brand Management
- Maintain and enhance the brand's image, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and values.
- Conduct brand audits and develop strategies to improve brand equity.
Market Research
- Conduct market research to gather insights on consumer needs, preferences, and trends.
- Utilize research findings to inform marketing strategies and decision-making.
Budget Management
- Assist in managing the brand marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Monitor expenses and provide regular budget updates to the Sr Brand Marketing Manager.
Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, connected commerce, creative, email & site teams, etc.
- Foster strong relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors.
Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare regular reports on marketing activities, campaign performance, and market trends.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve future marketing initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years relevant work experience OR Master's + 3+ relevant work experience; 4+ years of equivalent work experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree.
- Preferred Education/Experience: Proficiency in graphic design software and content management systems, Marketing agency experience, Experience with influencer marketing and partnerships.
- Specific Skills or Experience Required: 5+ year of experience in brand marketing or a related role, Strong understanding of marketing principles, digital marketing, and brand management.
