About the role
As an Assistant Manager, you’ll be a key part of our operations leadership team, assisting the General Manager in day-to-day facility operations. This fast-paced, customer-facing role empowers you to act like an owner of your facility. Over 70% of our Assistant Managers have been promoted into General Manager roles, making this a great stepping-stone for career growth.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the physical condition and appearance of the facility and fleet.
- Supervise employee performance within a shift to ensure operational standards are met.
- Train employees on their specific responsibilities.
- Complete assigned projects related to operational improvements, maintenance, and shuttle repair.
- Manage all customer service issues that arise.
- Enforce all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Respond to shift coverage needs by contacting employees or covering the shift personally.
- Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations for operating commercial vehicles.
- Perform additional duties as reasonably requested by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant management experience.
- Ability to work a varied and flexible schedule.
- Strong prioritization skills and ability to follow directions promptly.
- Excellent English communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills for gathering and summarizing data for reports.
- Currently holds, or can obtain, all required licenses/badges to operate a commercial vehicle, including a valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to take a physical and pass as a certified Interstate driver, as required by airport, federal DOT, and/or state regulations.
Pay
Salary range: $55,000 – $60,000 per year, with overtime eligibility.
Schedule
Wednesday to Sunday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM (Monday and Tuesday off). Consistent schedules provided.
