Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assumes Community Manager's supervisory responsibilities in absence.
  • Aids in the training and development of the team, assists in scheduling employee work times.
  • Reviews daily rent recommendations and identifies opportunities to increase income.
  • Collects current and delinquent rent according to company and property policies.
  • Enforces timely legal actions, including court appearances.
  • Posts invoices, uses purchase orders, codes invoices with correct GL coding, and submits security deposit reconciliations on time.
  • Verifies and completes move-in and move-out files accurately and promptly; ensures information is entered into the property software system.
  • Completes or verifies the completion of weekly reports.
  • Collaborates with the Community Manager to complete monthly financial reports and variance reports.
  • Supports the Community Manager in resolving resident and prospective resident conflicts.
  • Complies with company and employee handbooks, property policy manuals, and governing documents.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of related property management experience.
  • Ability to pass fair housing exam.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic math skills, including the ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • Independence in handling tasks without direct supervision.
  • Knowledge of operations software used at the property level, including Outlook, Internet software, Excel, and Word.
  • Current driver's license and auto insurance.
  • Ability to work weekends and overtime as required.

Monday - Friday, 9AM - 6PM
