Assistant manager

About the role

The successful candidate will support the child nutrition program at Rockwood Valley Middle School. This position involves assisting with meal preparation, serving, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving meals to students and staff
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining area
• Follow all food safety guidelines and procedures
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a food service setting preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Knowledge of food service equipment and supplies
