Assistant Manager

Assistant Manager role focused on driving sales, ensuring a positive guest experience, and maximizing restaurant profitability through effective management of daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide Team Members, Managers, and Guests with a positive experience and atmosphere.
• Ensure prompt, friendly service and consistent production of high-quality food.
• Direct overall activities and performance of team members on a shift-by-shift basis.
• Assist with the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies, including promotions, new product introductions, and brand loyalty initiatives.
• Manage efforts to ensure a positive guest and team experience across all ordering channels (in-restaurant dining, to-go, online ordering, curbside, and delivery).
• Maintain and inspect dining areas, food preparation, storage, and holding areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Correct unsafe practices or conditions and ensure adherence to brand standards and company policies.
• Complete daily paperwork and projects on time, including cash control procedures and labor management.
• Drive positive labor results through proactive scheduling and reacting to business trends.
• Control operating costs by promoting cost awareness throughout the restaurant.
• Ensure quality recruiting, training, and motivation of new team members; may participate in hiring and evaluations as directed.
• Foster positive relationships with team members and managers by treating all members with respect.
• Minimize turnover by addressing and resolving team member issues in collaboration with the management team.
• Support and practice an open-door policy for team communication.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Hourly/Part-Time role.

Reports to the General Manager.
