Assistant Manager
About the role
The Assistant Restaurant Manager has the overall responsibility for controlling day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, conducting performance appraisals, counseling, motivating, and training the entire team, including developing Assistant Managers, building sales to meet and exceed store plans through Local Store Marketing strategies and community involvement, and ensuring company standards on equipment, facilities, and grounds are maintained through a preventative maintenance program.
Responsibilities

- Developing the restaurant team
- Maintaining inventory

- Taking appropriate actions
- Ensuring compliance with Human Resources practices and labor laws
- Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring team members
- Conducting performance appraisals, counseling, motivating, and training the entire team
- Building sales to meet and exceed store plan
- Ensuring compliance with company standards on equipment, facilities, and grounds
Requirements
- Minimum of six months Popeyes managerial experience or one year of General Manager experience with another concept or recommendation from an Area Manager
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Able to calculate and analyze data
- Display effective leadership skills
- Able to effectively communicate with all levels
- Ability to interpret Profit and Loss Statements
- Computer literate
Qualifications
Individual must have minimum of six months Popeyes managerial experience or one year of General Manager experience with another concept or be recommended by his/her current Area Manager.
