About the role
The Assistant Manager for Little Caesars is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of a store, ensuring guest satisfaction, and achieving profitability. They also lead the team, provide feedback, and train employees.
Responsibilities
- Serve customers correctly and complete orders within service time goals.
- Assign tasks, provide feedback, and train team members.
- Use the huddle board to position the team effectively.
- Support appropriate personnel policies, labor laws, and safety procedures.
- Execute and support all food safety requirements and practices.
- Manage and organize the line, delegate duties, and work the line as needed.
- Promote sales through suggestive selling and knowledge of in-store promotions.
- Control food costs, labor, waste, and cash on the shift.
- Count drawers and handle cash properly.
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Previous experience in restaurants, retail, or customer contact positions, with leadership experience preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with basic math skills.
- Licensed to work in the United States.
- Excellent communication skills for both guests and colleagues.
- A positive attitude and ethical behavior supporting the company's values and culture.
- A strong team player with the ability to train and coach others.
- The ability to lift up to 55 pounds, push/pull up to 55 pounds, squat/crouch to lift items, twist up to 90 degrees, and bend up to 90 degrees.
- The ability to work a standard schedule of 20-30 hours per week, including closing at least 3 nights a week and working on weekends.
