Assistant Manager

About the Role

As an Assistant Manager, you are in charge of assisting the operation of a single store. This includes hiring, managing, and directing associates to achieve financial goals and ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest experiences. You will receive 3 or more weeks of paid store leadership training to prepare you for success.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the operation of a single Panda Express store
• Hire, manage, and direct associates to meet financial goals
• Ensure delivery of exceptional guest experiences
• Work flexible hours, including opening/closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
• Maintain food safety standards (Serve Safe certified)

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Must be flexible to relocate to a store within a 50-mile radius of your home
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Effective verbal communication skills and conflict management abilities
• Physical ability to:
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand for up to four hours
  • Reach across 36-inch countertops
  • Work in hot, noisy, and restricted kitchen environments
  • Prepare hot/cold foods using kitchen equipment (e.g., Chinese cook knife) quickly and accurately
