Assistant Manager

About the Role

As an Assistant Manager, you are responsible for assisting the operation of a single store. This includes hiring, managing, and directing associates to achieve financial goals and ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest experiences. You will receive 3 or more weeks of paid store leadership training to prepare you for success.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the operation of a single Panda Express store
• Hire, manage, and direct associates to meet financial goals
• Ensure delivery of exceptional guest experiences
• Work a flexible schedule including opening/closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
• Maintain food safety standards (Serve Safe certified)

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Must be flexible to relocate to a store within a 50-mile radius of your home
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Effective verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage conflicts and difficult situations
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods (up to 4 hours), and reach across countertops
• Ability to work in hot, noisy kitchens with high steam and food vapors
• Must handle kitchen equipment (e.g., Chinese cook knife) quickly and accurately

Pay

Pay range: $26.50 – $29.50 per hour. Individual pay is determined by work location and experience. Bonus opportunities are available but not guaranteed.
