Assistant Manager

About the Role

As an Assistant Manager, you will assist in the operation of a single store, including hiring, managing, and directing associates to achieve financial goals and ensure the delivery of exceptional guest experiences. A 3+ week paid Store Management Leadership Training program will prepare you for success.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day operation of a Panda Express store
• Hire, manage, and direct associates to meet financial targets
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences
• Maintain food safety standards (Serve Safe certified)
• Work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Manage conflicts and difficult situations effectively
• Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for long periods, and working in hot, noisy kitchens

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Willingness to relocate to a store within a 50-mile radius of your home
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including opening/closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (standing for long periods, lifting, reaching, hot/crowded kitchens)
• Strong verbal communication and adaptability skills
