Assistant Manager

Position Overview

The Assistant Manager position at Genghis Grill is a critical member of the operations team. Key responsibilities include impacting the assigned area of responsibility, ensuring customer satisfaction, leading and motivating the team, delivering a quality product, and enforcing company policies.

Responsibilities

• Promote company mission, vision, and values
• Runs and manages shifts effectively
• Ensures customer satisfaction and recovery strategies
• Led, develops, and motivates the team
• Delivers quality product and experience based on brand standards
• Conducts effective pre-shift meetings
• Enforces company human resources policies
• Enforces food safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Extensive background in high volume full-service restaurant food operations
• Valid ServSafe certification
• Detailed knowledge of county, state, and federal health codes
• Knowledge of basic employment laws and regulations
• Some knowledge of the Spanish language is a plus

Education and Experience

• Minimum high school education, college degree preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively
• Ability to read and write to facilitate communication
• Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to four (4) hours in length
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds in weight
• Must possess finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment
• The workplace may frequently expose the team member to heat/cold and odors
