About the role
This job posting is for a Manager position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is responsible for employment matters such as hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Lead shifts to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
- Manage assigned Systems, such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
- Set goals, delegate tasks to teams, follow up, and report results.
- Ensure Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience.
- Manage Sales Promotions and ensure service staff are trained in procedures.
- Organize Front Counter, McCafé, and Drive-Thru areas for optimal service.
- Make sure the restaurant delivers great quality food and fast service.
- Ensure food is always safe and food costs are controlled.
- Train kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items.
- Hire qualified crew, train them well, and schedule them to meet sales and profit goals.
- Support Crew in getting off to a good start and motivate them throughout their time working there.
Requirements
- Previous managerial experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
- Positive team player with flexible schedules and a passion for the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
- Must be 18 years or older and have open availability.
