Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager, you’ll assist the Residential Manager with providing direct programming and support services to residents with developmental disabilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Two years of experience working with intellectually or developmentally disabled individuals
• Certifications in First Aid and CPR – adult, child and infant; delegated nursing
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License with Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles and proof of auto insurance
• Strong communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent computer skills – including spreadsheets and word processing tools – and ability to learn new programs expeditiously

Qualifications

• Preferred: One year of supervisory experience
• Special skills and requirements: Detail‑oriented with competent literacy, writing, documentation, communication, and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to use tools and equipment as required – including pushing/pulling wheelchairs, lifting consumers with Hoyer lifts
