Assistant Manager

About the role

The Assistant Manager position at Hobby Lobby is one of hourly store management. A typical work week is 40-48 hours, with regular store hours from Monday to Saturday, 9:00AM to 8:00PM, and closed on Sunday. Typical hours for this position are 8:00AM – 5:00PM, with the store closing on two nights a week and working every other Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the store
• Ensure customer satisfaction and provide excellent customer service
• Supervise and train staff members
• Manage inventory and merchandise displays
• Assist in planning and executing promotional events
• Handle cash transactions and manage the cash register
• Work closely with the store manager to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Previous work references
• Some previous management experience preferred

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
