Assistant Manager

Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities

• Open and close the facility on specified weekdays and weekends
• Promote a positive and uplifting culture throughout the park
• Maintain a healthy and safe environment for guests and team members alike by adhering to safety and sanitation standards
• Train new team members and supervise current team members to consistently provide exemplary service and achieve operational excellence
• Maintains an image of competence and professionalism to guests, team members, and management
• Maintains proper team member/employer relations and addresses any questions promptly, including disciplinary actions, recognition, and performance
• Works under the direct supervision of the GM, who will indicate general assignments, limitations, and priorities
• Work as a team with other management team members
• Perform any other services or duties as required by Management

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma, some College preferred
• Supervisor level experience
• Proven conflict management skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations
• Ability to work nights and/or weekends
• Relates well to customers of all ages
• Great attitude and strong work ethic
• Loves to have fun and not only smiles easily but finds joy in making others smile
• Weekend availability
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Must be able to work and willing to work flexible hours including weekends, nights, and holidays to meet the needs of the business
• The willingness to learn, be cheerful, with a positive attitude
