About the role
Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist the Store Manager in the operation of the retail outlet and oversee the store's operations and supervise assigned personnel.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to staff, program participants, donors, and customers, ensuring production and quality goals are achieved and sales expectations are met.
- Ensure the store operates efficiently.
- Ensure a positive application of organizational policies and procedures by all staff and retail facilities, reflecting a positive internal and external appearance.
Requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Organizational, problem-solving, and management skills.
- Customer/detail-oriented.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent AND 1 year of experience in management required.
- Internal candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent AND 6 months of experience in the Goodwill Team Leader role required.
- Experience in retail, including fast food, resale, or manufacturing/production experience preferred.

Pay
- External Hiring Range: $18.08-$19.16/hour.
Schedule
