Assistant Manager
About the role
The Assistant Manager's primary purpose is to assist the Management team in developing restaurant management and hourly staff to build and increase sales over the previous year and improve profitability, while ensuring employee and guest satisfaction, without compromising the integrity or culture of the concept.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate tasks and delegate to line crew
- Achieve daily goals
- Develop and lead restaurant management and hourly staff
- Train and lead all team members
- Provide excellent customer service with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
- Build a culture of excellence with the General Manager
- Seek to improve personal and team skills and seek advancement
- Earn customer satisfaction by emphasizing details in production, ensuring food is made to spec, maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and atmosphere
- Set pars for food, beverage, paper, and eliminate waste/pilferage
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
- Self-motivated with a friendly, outgoing attitude
- Effectively able to train and lead all team members
- Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Culture Creator: Work directly with the GM to build a culture of excellence
- Eager Learner: Constantly seek to improve personal and team skills while seeking advancement
- Focused on product quality and customer service: Ensure customer satisfaction by emphasizing details in production, making food to spec, ensuring proper food safety, cleanliness, and atmosphere
- Cost Controller: Set pars for food, beverage, paper, and eliminate waste/pilferage
