About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Assistant Manager to join our team in Canton, United States.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and motivate team members to achieve performance goals
- Manage inventory, including stock replenishment and accurate record-keeping
- Process customer orders efficiently and accurately
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner
- Operate and maintain equipment as required
- Conduct regular quality checks to maintain high standards
- Aid in training and developing new team members
- Implement and maintain company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with the management team to improve operational efficiency
- Prepare and analyze reports on various aspects of the business
- Absorb and comply with health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in operating relevant equipment and computer systems
- Solid mathematical skills for inventory management and financial tasks
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
- Experience in conflict resolution and handling customer complaints
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and practices
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
- A high school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree in business or related field is preferred
