Responsibilities
The Assistant Manager will be responsible for assisting in the oversight of gym operations to ensure an exceptional “Judgement Free” member experience as well as a financially successful club. This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, and may require working a schedule that exceeds 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Achieve or exceed individual sales goals, contribute to club monthly and yearly goals
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing a high performing staff
- Assist in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all members, prospective members and guests
- Assist with Staff Management and provide backup support to Club Manager as needed
- Assist in scheduling and supervising staff
- Member service oversight - Ensuring staff is providing a superior customer experience at all times
- Involved in all front desk related activities, including answering phones, checking members into the system, and facilitating member requests
- Assist in overseeing cleanliness and maintenance of facility
- Assist in ordering of supplies and tracking statistics and reports
- Backup support for any employee who is absent
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must be 18 years of age or older, have a passion for helping others, and a commitment to excellent service. Previous management experience is preferred, as well as basic computer proficiency and current CPR certification.

Placement within the established pay range for each role will be determined based on a combination of factors, including relevant skills, years and depth of experience, performance history, market competitiveness, and geographic economic conditions.
