About the role
Zaxby's Assistant Manager is a newly created position for the grand opening of the Keystone Heights location on October 2025. This role offers competitive pay starting at $17 - $20 per hour, along with significant benefits including a $1,500 sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the restaurant delivers great guest experiences while maintaining operational standards.
- Manage the restaurant's daily operations, ensuring the team follows all processes, policies, and procedures.
- Make encore experiences for our guests.
- Engage in hands-on station training and provide friendly, enthusiastic service for all guests.
- Greet guests promptly and thank them as they leave.
- Maintain awareness of current promotions and explain menu items, answer questions, and suggest additional items.
- Accurately complete orders and guest transactions, enter orders into the point-of-sale system, accept payments, operate cash registers, and maintain receipts.
- Clean and maintain guest areas, including dining room, counters, bathrooms, and building exterior.
- Stock paper goods, condiments, serverware, and beverages.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Create an environment of quality within your store.
- Handle cash payments, count and verify tills, and record totals appropriately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment.
- Operate the store to meet or exceed budgeted operating goals.
- Ensure that all product quality standards are met.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Available to work a minimum of 5 days and 40 to 45 hours per week.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Successfully complete a background check.
Capabilities Requirement
- Manage all personnel on each shift, including cashiers and cooks.
- Inventory management: the management of food costs.
- Ensure all daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly tasks and checklists are completed correctly.
- Hire and schedule staff to provide quality guest experience while managing labor expense.
- Ensure that daily cash drawers, safe, and credit cards are balanced.
- Operate the store to meet or exceed budgeted operating goal.
- Ensure that all product quality standards are met.
