Assistant Manager - Affordable Housing

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager with Onesite knowledge (YieldStar experience is a plus) to join our team at a premiere affordable housing property in Las Vegas. This role supports the on-site Manager in daily operations, resident relations, and administrative tasks within a high-quality apartment community known for its exceptional design, construction, and management.
Responsibilities
- Complete a variety of tasks assigned by the on-site Manager, including weekly and monthly reports.
- Handle leasing, phone inquiries, computer-based tasks, filing, and resident/vendor interactions.
- Manage resident relations and retention efforts.
- Assist the Manager in controlling maintenance costs and maintaining vacant unit readiness.
- Oversee on-site operations and supervise staff in the Manager’s absence.
Requirements
- LIHTC/Tax Credit experience.
- Experience in property management.
- Strong communication and computer skills.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively with managers, staff, and residents.
- Written and verbal communication proficiency.
Schedule
- 8-hour shift.
- Weekends required (every weekend).
- Overtime as needed.
