Assistant Manager - $19.00-$21.00/hr

About the role

The Assistant Manager is responsible for organizing and leading the work shift in the absence or presence of the General or Assistant General Manager. They also direct all work activity for counter personnel during their shift, assist in the training of new employees, monitor food preparation, presentation, and customer service, enforce company policies, and open/close the restaurant as needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct all work activity for counter personnel during shift
• Provide training and instruction to counter personnel
• Aid in the training of new employees
• Maintain oversight of food preparation, presentation, and customer service provided by counter personnel
• Ensure compliance with established standards
• Enforce company policies verbally and report any problems/concerns to management
• Open/close restaurant on an as needed basis

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Experience in management
• Obtain Food Handler Card
