Join a locally owned and operated Wow 1st (DBA) franchise and bring smiles to the community with fresh, fast, and hot pizza. As Assistant Manager, you’ll lead shifts, ensuring smooth operations and a fun, engaging environment for both customers and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Control costs and maximize profits, keeping operations efficient like perfectly proofed dough.
  • Manage inventory to ensure fresh ingredients are always available for pizza perfection.
  • Lead the team in delivering five-star customer service that keeps customers returning.
  • Build and mentor a cohesive crew, fostering a tight-knit team environment.
  • Handle paperwork and documentation with precision, just like placing toppings.
  • Promote delicious deals and local marketing initiatives like spreading signature sauce.
  • Maintain a spotless store, ensuring cleanliness matches the freshness of ingredients.
  • Operate all equipment with expertise, acting as the "Master of Ceremonies" during shifts.
  • Manage stock, ensuring ingredients flow seamlessly from delivery to storage.
  • Take phone orders efficiently and with charm, like a drive-thru ninja.
  • Track and count inventory with laser focus to maintain pizza resources.

Requirements

  • Ability to lead shifts and manage kitchen operations smoothly, even under pressure.
  • Proficiency in handling customer service, multitasking, and coordinating tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with customers and inspire team members.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (equivalent to about six large pizzas).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including availability 7 days a week.

Skills

  • Experience in cost control and profit management.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, handling phones, ovens, and paperwork simultaneously.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination for efficient order processing and preparation.
  • Fast and accurate typing for order entry and documentation.
  • Leadership skills to mentor and motivate a team.

Schedule

This is a full-time position requiring availability 7 days a week with varying shifts.
