Responsibilities

General Duties for All Store Team Members
- Operate store equipment and prepare products.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Manage inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility daily.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage and work areas.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong judgment, math, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to comprehend and give clear written and verbal instructions.
- Proficiency in basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and making correct monetary change.
- Motor coordination for rapid, precise movements (e.g., using a keyboard, touch screen, or pizza peel).
- Navigational skills for reading maps and locating addresses within the delivery area.
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and private homes, while carrying products.
Work Conditions
- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions (e.g., removing trash, making deliveries).
- In-store temperatures ranging from 36°F in coolers to 90°F+ in work areas, with sudden temperature changes.
- Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters (e.g., walk-in cooler), and hot surfaces/tools (ovens up to 500°F+).
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
- Sensory requirements: verbal communication (phone/in-person), near/mid-range vision, depth perception, and ability to differentiate hot/cold surfaces.
- Temperament: ability to direct activities, work under stress, meet quality standards, analyze data, and make judgments/decisions.
Physical Requirements
- Standing: Most tasks performed standing; work surfaces range from 36" to 48".
- Walking: Short distances/durations; delivery personnel travel between store, vehicle, and customer locations.
- Sitting: Paperwork completed at a desk or table.
- Lifting: Unload deliveries (up to 50 lbs) using a hand truck; stack cases onto shelves up to 72" high. Carry pizza sauce (30 lbs), dough trays (12 lbs each), and pizzas/beverages during delivery.
- Pushing/Pulling: Move trays on dollies (force up to 7.5 lbs).
- Climbing: Navigate stairs/ladder for maintenance or deliveries (up to 5+ flights).
- Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at pizza assembly station (30–45 seconds at a time, repeated continuously). Bending required for stocking and front-counter tasks.
- Crouching/Squatting: Occasionally to stock shelves or clean low areas.
- Reaching: Continuously in all directions (up to 72" high, down to floor level, and forward).
- Hand Tasks: Eye-hand coordination for rapid, precise movements (e.g., shaping dough, using pizza peel/cutter, assembling boxes). Frequent pinching/grasping (cans, phone, tools, boxes).
Delivery-Specific Duties
- Deliver pizzas by car and on foot to customer doors.
- Distribute flyers and door hangers.
- Requirements: Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
Tools & Equipment
- Pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment.
- Pizza-specific tools: cutter, peel, rolling cutter.
