Assistant Maintenance Technician

About the Role

American Communities is seeking a skilled and service-minded Assistant Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep of our property’s buildings, systems, and grounds. In this role, you will assist with repairs in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and more to ensure residents enjoy a safe, well-maintained environment. Your work will directly enhance the resident experience, from preparing units for move-in to maintaining pools and shared spaces.

Responsibilities

• Assist with repairs and maintenance in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance systems.
• Prepare units for move-in and maintain shared spaces and amenities, including pools.
• Support the upkeep of buildings, systems, and grounds to ensure safety and functionality.

Requirements

• Prior maintenance experience.
• Strong work ethic and proactive attitude.
• EPA certification.
• Problem-solving skills and a can-do mindset.
