Assistant Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

The Assistant Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance activities within the facility, ensuring all equipment and systems are functioning optimally. They also assist in planning and executing preventive maintenance schedules to prevent breakdowns.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance tasks to ensure facilities are safe and operational.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and upgrades.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans.
• Document all maintenance activities and report findings to management.
• Assist in training new staff members on maintenance procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in facility maintenance.
• Proficient in using maintenance software and tools.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and practices.

Skills

• Technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

Pay

Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
