Key Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and appliance repair.
- Inspect units, grounds, and common areas regularly to ensure safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal.
- Manage preventive maintenance, work orders, and make-ready schedules to meet PRG standards.
- Support resident satisfaction by responding quickly to service requests and emergencies.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory while ensuring compliance with safety policies and regulations.
- Aid in training and supervising maintenance staff; serve as acting Maintenance Supervisor in their absence.
- Collaborate with the Property Manager on budgeting, purchasing, and contractor/vendor management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience; multifamily housing experience preferred.
- CPO and HVAC certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, carpentry, and appliance repair.
- Experience with preventive maintenance, inventory control, and record-keeping.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently (and up to 100 lbs. occasionally).
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; valid driver’s license required.
