Assistant Maintenance Manager (1148927)

Location: Axis, AL Salary: $90,000.00 USD Annually - $110,000.00 USD Annually Description: Assistant Maintenance Manager Location: Confidential Industrial Manufacturing Facility A growing industrial organization is seeking an experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager to support maintenance operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for helping lead maintenance personnel, improving equipment reliability, and supporting safe, efficient production. Key Responsibilities Assist with daily maintenance operations and workforce coordination.Lead and support maintenance technicians in troubleshooting and repair activities.Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.Promote and enforce safety standards and maintenance best practices.Partner with operations teams to minimize downtime and improve productivity.Monitor equipment performance and recommend reliability improvements.Maintain maintenance records and support budget and cost-control initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field preferred.5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments.Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Experience with CMMS software and maintenance planning practices.Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Working knowledge of industrial safety regulations and standards. Work Environment Industrial production environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.Ability to lift materials and tools as needed.Flexible schedule, including occasional weekends and on-call support.
